    Hello,
it is nice to listen enka. Being a Indian, I like enka.
If you can provide some more enka songs or online streaming then i will grateful to you.

But unfortunately, the young generation in japan dislike enka and even few people are listening. I don;t the exact reason for this. Let us make and promote enka at least for foreign listeners.
    looking forward from you.
    thanks and regards

Hi again. It’s meRichard, from the Philippines. It’s so hard to get enka nowadays, sometimes, i try downloading them through the internet. Sometimes,I buy them directly from Japan through money order, though the prices are so expensive. Thanks a lot for the songs. I am mostly impressed by the Fujiwara Hiroshi song with the title ” koi shigure”.It’s very nostalgic. I have an e-mail that has lots of enka songs, maybe thousands. If you’d like,I can send you the username & the passwords for those 5 gmail accounts so you could exchange songs with us(actually it is an e-mail on which we put our enka songs. We exchange songs there).I have 2 e-mails:
I hope you can e-mail me there if it’s ok with you. Thank you very much and I am very pleased to meet you.

    Regards,

Thanks a lot for uploading another enka podcast, though I think I already have some of the songs on this newest podcast.I really appreciate your help in creating such podcasts in order to let us,enka fanns to listen to enka music. I am very much happy to have known this site because it is relatively too hard to find enka on the internet.sometimes, I have to buy them directly from Japan, which is rather too expensive. As a translator and interpreter of Japanese,I am very much stressed from work by the time I finish my work. After my job, I play some enka music and it is really so soothing to the ears.Since I was listening to this type of music since my high school years,I could say that I am really addicted to it. I promised myself that I will love it with all my heart. The melodies are somewhat sad,but are very inspirational.Living in the Philippines, enka is so hard to find,so I’m very thankful that such a blog is dedicated to this genre of music.Doumo arigatou gozaimashita!!!

    ii desu ne!
Thank you. Lovely Enka songs. The quality sounds great too. I wish I was back in Japan with my family. You have no idea how important it is for me to listen to Enka. I lived in Japan so many years. Please put on as many podcasts as you can. Looks like others wish to help submit too. The more Enka we can get, the better. Unfortunately, as you know, Enka is hard to find. There should be thousands of Enka mp3 files, but there are not. I could listen all day! And talk all day, for that matter. Better go

    hi!

just wanted to say how excited i was to find these podcasts and to thank you from the bottom of my heart. my mother lost her mind when she heard them, and it put me on top of the world to see her that happy!

when i played them for her, she got all misty on me. then she went all excited trying to recall the songs/singers that were all too familiar, but the names were just out of reach. she even made phone calls to her friends, held the phone up to the speakers and excitedly asked if they remembered. between maybe four/five of them they could only come up with one or two singers whose voices they recognized.

this was horribly frustrating for them (possibly made more so by the fact that they’re all in their 70s and feeling their ages in the middle of their nostalgia for old japan). so i have a request: if it’s not too much trouble, could you maybe publish the playlists for the first two podcasts? (these are, of course, my mother’s favorites.) my mother and her friends would really appreciate it. and i wouldn’t mind being the hero once again either. LOL!

either way, thank you SOOOOOO much for all the joy!

    cheers!
    shigi
